Irish folk band, The Banjacks. Come from accomplished musical pedigrees. All members of the group grew up in households soaked in the Irish musical tradition and each member of the band witnessed first-hand the power of well crafted music on an audience. The Banjacks is a mixture of three highly trained musicians consisting of; Jack Mc Shane (Guitar and Vocals), Karl Sweeney (Violin and Vocals), Liam Clarke (Mandolin and Vocals) and Cillian Mc Goldrick (Banjo) who are all highly ranked throughout Ireland for their musicianship.
They are a young, lively, upbeat and exciting band bringing their own unique blend and twist to some of your favourite songs. The band compromise a unique mixture of three boys whom share a love for creating and listening to music; this bond results in trilling live performance night after night- leaving the audience shouting for another. Members of the band have also played in well-known folk bands such as “The Whistlin’ Donkeys” and “The Drunken Lullabies”. From this, the lads have gained the experience needed to pursue their own careers in the music industry.
Since The Banjacks began in 2014, they have completed numerous gigs through Ireland as well as European countries such as Italy. The Banjacks showcase their incredible versatility and skills as multi instrumentalists, playing 10 instruments between them and bringing a rousing acoustic flavour to brand new songs as well as some old favourites. The Banjacks are continuing to live up to their reputation as a phenomenal live band serving up laughter, good times and even the odd sing along.
